Close to lunchtime yesterday, my sweet son called out, "Mom, you wanna go to Tim Horton's with me?" And with such a sweet voice, how could I refuse? So off we went, with Rob in tow. I remembered that Cameron had a few Timmy's gift certificates he'd received, so he got to pay for lunch, and you should have seen how pleased he was when we thanked him for lunch. Of course he didn't know that the gift certificates only paid for 1/3 the meal, but that doesn't matter. We had a great lunch, and I brought my camera along and took some pictures. Sad to say, the photos aren't uploaded yet. And something's wrong with my battery - I had charged it but after a few shots yesterday it died. So off to the camera store I'll go, hopefully this weekend.
I also wanted to announce that I'll be teaching in Singapore on April 21 as a guest of The Velvet Cat (TVC). They'd heard I would be visiting Asia in April and so extended an invitation to come and teach - and they've emailed saying there might be people flying in from Philipines and elsewhere to attend the classes. Boy, if that doesn't add to the pressure, I don't know what will, lol. But I'm super excited about the classes, I have quite a few companies represented and lots of sponsorship from Papier Valise and Strano Designs and Lazar Studiowerx and Maya Road and products from Scenic Route, Heidi Swapp, Hambly, Prima, etc etc and of course FontWerks. Lots of stamps and glitter and utee and rub ons and tags and... well - lots more. Here's a couple sneak peeks of the two classes!
*ETA* Thanks for your emails about the classes asking about how to sign up. Here's a link to the TVC blog - they have details and contact info there.
Leaving for Alabama on Wednesday for this - and hoping to get all the CHA orders completed before then.
Better get back to it, then! Have a great day!
How very exciting! :) The album looks very nifty :)

hi kah mei!
i'm currently trying to plan a trip to singapore in april (probably around the time you'll be there). If I do end up going when you're there, is there a way to sign up for your class? Where is the store located? it would be so cool to take a class with you in singapore!

And for better or worse, the outcome of the global recession will be closer regulation of the world's economic and financial systems, for years to come.
